Kevin is a support technologist of academic technologies. Kevin is a native Seattleite and has worked in Tacoma as a lab assistant and multimedia facilitator for three years at local colleges to instruct others on technology equipment, software, and hardware. He received an AA in fine arts from Pierce College and is currently pursuing a degree in computer science and systems at the University of Washington Tacoma.
Kevin developed a strong sense of devotion for computer science at an early age when he first encountered a Windows 98 computer. Kevin’s’ courses at the University of Washington provided him a deep appreciation for instructing others to implement technology into their daily lives. He tends to use the motto “garbage in, garbage out” as his reminder that the quality of work you put into something is the equivalent to the quality you output.
Sherreese Dones is a graduate from Tennessee State University. She majored in family and consumer science with a concentration in food service management. She currently attends the University of Phoenix, where she is working on a master of arts in education/adult education and training, graduating in 2016.
Sherreese’s experience includes service and management experience in customer service and hospitality. She currently teaches in the Metropolitan Nashville Public School System, spending eight years with students from pre-K to fourth grade. She also works as an administrative assistant.
In her spare time, Sherreese loves to spend time with family, cook, sing in the choir, shop and sell items online.
Lyndsie holds an art and writing degree from the University of Evansville, but her volunteer work led to her current career path in education and social services. She has worked as a camp counselor and museum educator, led after school programs for at-risk, pregnant and parenting teen girls through the YWCA, and taught in both traditional public school classrooms and homeschool programs. She now works as the Youth & Volunteer Coordinator for the Peoria GoodGuides program and enjoys supporting both teens and mentors as they create a brighter future for their community.
Kyle R. Huff graduated from Davenport University magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis in leadership effectiveness. He plans to pursue an MBA from Davenport University in the fall of 2014.
Kyle has honed his management, sales, and customer service skills, working for large companies including McDonald’s, Quick Star and Fifth Third Bank. Currently, he works as an underwriter at Fifth Third Bank, where he is responsible for analyzing loan applications, assessing credit risk and is licensed with the National Mortgage License System.
Kyle has mentored and volunteered with numerous charities: Teaching Kids to Save, March of Dimes, United Way, Kid’s Food Basket, and Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids.
Kyle advocates against animal abuse and cruelty by being involved with animal rights initiatives via The Humane Society, PETA, and the ASPCA. During his downtime, he enjoys chess, disc golf, and playing with his two dogs.
Helen King is a software engineering consultant with Accenture Federal Services in Arlington, Virginia. In addition to her experience in IT, she has mentored and been mentored in her life, giving her a unique point of view from both sides of the relatinship. Outside of her professional life, she is an active volunteer at homeless shelters, veteran’s hospitals, churches and women’s shelters.
Tosha Murph has worked as a Career Coach in the higher education field. She works with individuals in choosing degree and career training programs designed to secure employment. She also coaches on resume writing and interview techniques. Tosha lives in Hampton Roads, Virginia. She has a Master degree in Education, and is working towards certification as a Global Career Development Facilitator. In her spare time, Tosha enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends.
Sandy Murphy is a human resources professional with more than a decade of experience. In addition to experience typical to the field in records management, policies development, legal compliance and benefits administration, Sandy prides herself on her ability to design and implement training for organizational leaders and staff. Her goal is to serve individuals who need resources, advice and motivation in their careers.
Lindsey Saxby is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in English literature. She is currently working on her Master’s degree in adult and higher education while working full-time in a career counseling office. She loves helping people discover their best career fit and plans to become a career counselor once she obtains her Master’s degree. She also works on resume and cover letter reviews.
Lindsey has experience working in retail and customer service positions through being a bus driver, working at Michael’s Arts and Crafts, working in a tasting room and a career counseling office. In her spare time, she enjoys walking and playing with her dog.
