Vicki Jones
Vicki is a mentor for Education and Social Services. Vicki has more than 15 years of experience developing and implementing workforce programs that help train, support, and place individuals in jobs. In addition, she has taught work preparedness classes and has been an adjunct professor.
Vicki has an undergraduate degree from Howard University and a master’s degree from New York University. In her free time, Vicki enjoys spending time with her three nieces and one nephew, exploring, and writing. Vicki is from New York City.
Jenni Samsill
Jenni Samsill is a Career Services Specialist for the Goodwill of Central Arizona. Jenni has 6+ years experience in developing and implementing career readiness tools that help train, support and place individuals in jobs. In addition, she has worked specifically with the ex-offender population and has a good understanding of that barrier in particular. Jenni has an undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in Sociology.
In her free time, Jenni enjoys spending time with her three children; two girls and a son, hiking, and traveling with husband. Jenni is from Phoenix, Arizona
Renee is a mentor for the Retail group. Renee has 24 years of experience in retail which includes managing numerous staff, a number of different stores at one time, and large amounts of inventory. She has worked for Lowe’s for 6 years as an Assistant Store Manager. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana State University – Shreveport in Business Management.
Renee enjoys spending time with her kids and grand kids. Renee is from Shreveport, Louisiana.
Odalis Gonzalez
Odalis Gonzalez is a mentor for Education and Social Services, Healthcare, and Office and Clerical. Odalis has 16 years of experience in social services which includes case management, counseling, and recruiting in non-profit and for profit organizations. She has taught job readiness skills in a support group setting and in a college classroom. Odalis has an undergraduate Bachelors degree in Psychology from Baruch College, a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University and is currently taking a online certificate course in E-Business from Penn Foster School.
In her free time, Odalis writes and manages her four blog websites which focuses on fashion, entertainment (music and film), the 1980′s, and social work issues. She enjoys traveling, art, and learning about Internet Marketing. Odalis is from New York City.
Brenna is a Mentor for Healthcare. Brenna works as an associate at a health policy research firm in Washington, DC. Brenna has worked in health & wellness programs, as a caregiver, as a lecturer in Gerontology, and in a hospital. Brenna received her B.S. in Biology at Washington College and her M.H.A. from the University of Maryland School of Public Health.
In her free time, Brenna enjoys yoga, cooking, traveling, and visiting New England.
Nichole is a Mentor for Customer Service, Office and Clerical. Nichole has over 10 years of professional experience in fields that that involved training and development, technical assistance, project management and customer service.
Nichole volunteered as a social worker with the Office of the Public Defender (Juvenile Division), where she referred juvenile offenders’ to job training programs, educational serves and counseling services. Nichole has a B.S. in Management Studies from the University of Maryland University College and a Master of Science in Human Services from Capella University. She is a Navy Veteran who spent six years on active duty.
In her free time, I enjoy bowling, traveling and making her own jewelry. Nichole is from Washington D.C.
Krystal is a mentor for Health Care. She is a Cultural Anthropologist with a focus on Gerontology, Aging Issues and Ethnic Studies – she is currently finishing her last six credits for her Undergraduate with Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and plans on attending school for her MPH in Public Health.
Krystal has 13 years of experience in technology, web design/coding and as being a webmaster. In addition, she continues to be a dedicated student and professional focusing on studies and careers that give towards the betterment of the human condition.
In the past, Krystal was also a Massage Therapist, CNA and a Home Health Aide. Whenever Krystal has free time, she spends it designing web pages for fun, planning her wedding and volunteering. Right now she resides in Southern Pennsylvania, but is looking to relocate to Baltimore, Maryland or D.C.
Tosha Murph is a mentor for Education. Tosha has over 5 years of experience in higher education, where she coaches and advises prospective students in choosing the best degree to achieve their desired career.
Tosha was raised in a military family, where her father served in the United States Air Force. Born in Louisiana, Tosha traveled with her family before settling at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.
She has an undergraduate degree in English from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. In her spare time, Tosha enjoys reading, writing poetry, and spending time with family and friends.
